Mexico City, October 25 (However).- The Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Prophecy) y Techtronic Industries México they warned of recall and repair of nine thousand 014 washing machines under pressure of the brand Ryobidue to the danger overheating y burst.
“This is due to the fact that the pressure washer condenser can overheat and burst, causing parts to be forcibly ejected, which could lead to serious injuries,” Profeco explained in a statement.
According to the Attorney General’s notice, the defective devices belong to the models RY142300 electric pressure 2300 PSI and RY142711VNM electric pressure 2700 PSI.
The company reported that, as of August 27, it has no reports of injuries or incidents in Mexico related to these washing machines, but in the United States, 135 overheated condensers, 41 explosions and 32 cases of injuries have been reported.

Profeco will contact consumers
Profeco indicated that the company Techtronic Industries Mexico will contact the owners of the washing machines via email to ask them to stop using the devices immediately. He also asked potential owners to verify in this liga whether your products are included in this recall.
“The supplier will send a free repair kit with installation instructions and a replacement capacitor,” the institution detailed.
