Mexico City, October 22 (However).- The Secretary of Welfare of the Government of Mexico reported that this Wednesday it began providing support for people affected by the intense rains in the states of Veracruz, Puebla, Queretaro y San Luis Potosi.
In a publication by X, the Secretary Ariadna Montiel explained that the initiative began at the instruction of the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaumas a result of the damage left by the tropical storm “Raymond“, whose passage through the national territory left 78 people dead, according to the latest update of the micrositio that the Government of Mexico enabled in that sense.

Until now, federal authorities report a total of 93 locations without communication headed by 38 municipalities in the state of Veracruz; 28 in the state of Hidalgo; 23 in Puebla; 12 in San Luis Potosí; and 8 in Querétaro.
When is the support delivery?
Firstly, Secretary Ariadna Montiel reported that the delivery of support for people affected by the rains in Veracruz, Puebla, Querétaro and San Luis Potosí began today, Wednesday, October 22, and will end on Wednesday, the 29th of the same month.
In the same context, the Government of Mexico announced that so far 273,448 meals have been delivered to the affected entities, which have been distributed as follows:

How to access support delivery?
The Welfare Secretariat announced that it will send SMS to the beneficiaries of said support, so that people know the day, time and the Welfare module that corresponds to them to pick them up, so they were requested to attend the assigned appointment punctually.
