CULTURE. Offering corridors, Legends of the Otherworld and more, the city of Puebla offers this Day of the Dead season.


From October 27 to 29, the town hall of Puebla will offer night tours in the municipal pantheon of the capital, within the framework of the 18th edition of the Death is a Dream Festival.

The head of the municipal Economy Secretariat, Jaime Raúl Oropeza Casasreported that this event seeks to offer recreational spaces for the people of Puebla, during the festivities for the traditional Day of the Dead.

Guided and open tours

The tours will be divided into two types: guided and open. In the first there will be controlled access, so the tickets will be delivered one hour before at the cemetery entrancelocated at 11 Sur and 37 Poniente, in the Gabriel Pastor neighborhood.

For this type of tours, it will be given priority to the first 300 peoplefrom from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, for the open tourshe access will be free to the public in general, to from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.said Oropeza Casas.

“During these tours you will be able to enjoy corners of our municipal pantheonaround tombs, monuments, mausoleums, many secrets and stories that this pantheon has (…) we invite all residents of Puebla and visitors to enjoy this experience,” he highlighted.

It is important to mention that the Access will be completely free.

More activities for the Day of the Dead
