In his publication, Jiménez relates that Enrique “N”, an escort for the Kauil Group company, argued: “I went forward to open the door for him. At that moment I heard a detonation.” With these words he justified why he did not defend lawyer David Cohen. The other escort did not notice what happened either.

In the audio, the agent is heard reporting on the radio: “Code 10, code 10! Here at 8 of the Judiciary.”
The young man was taken to a hospital under guard. In his first statement, he confessed that the attack was his first criminal assignment and that he agreed to do it together with an accomplice in exchange for between 30 and 50 thousand pesos, a sum that was ultimately not delivered to them.
According to the investigations, both met near the Judiciary, where an individual identified as “El Gufi” provided them with weapons. During the escape, the accomplice escaped on a motorcycle, leaving the shooter behind.
