By dreading the various works that deal with aging in bookstores, we are alert to the interest it arouses when people are covered now more than ever. The books of the Italians Erri de Luca (Experimental edad) and Norberto Bobbio (De senectuteand reedición), among other things, he immerses himself in the act of writing during the day.

We invite Álvaro Pombo, Luis Mateo Díez and Rosa Montero to reflect on the importance of memory, death, the need to create and other vicissitudes associated with longevity. Marta Sanzová, who encountered this reality in some of her jobs, elevates this topic to a political level.

We also met Francisco Mora, an international authority on neuroscience, who has published his latest book, The myth of lifethe paper of our genes and our habits to make wider, more grateful and happier “this slow progress makes our future”.

SCIENCE. The famous “doomsday clock” created by scientists during World War II is closer than ever to Wednesday, just 85 seconds away. Sánchez Ron repeats this story Doomsday Clock and says that “since Trump took back the presidency of the United States, the rebels have shown up in a bigger way.”
