Passion and precision
“Passion, precision, warmth and an exceptional mix of sound: these are the qualities that distinguish this outstanding work of Israeli music”. This is how The Times (Londres) describes the Jerusalem Quartet. Since forming the group in 1993 and debuting in 1995, the four Israeli musicians have gone through a remarkable journey of growth and artistic development. Their extensive repertoire and extraordinary depth of expression firmly established them as a unique voice within the cuarteto de cuerda tradition.
At the heart of his sound lies a warm, rounded and deeply human tone, accompanied by a harmonious balance between sharp and serious voices. This emphasis allows the composer to combine individual expressiveness with an honest and faithful presentation of the composer’s work. Asimism is the driving force behind the constant improvement of interpretations of the classical repertoire and encourages the discovery of new musical areas.
