Noodles & Company launches Ramen with Garlic and Chili, a new flavor inspired by social media trends. This limited-time dish, which seeks to adapt to consumer preferences, will be available for $8.95. Members of its Rewards Program will be able to try it earlier, on October 15, and the general public from October 17.
It is a product that combines intense flavors that are the favorites of Generation Z, so the new Garlic and Chili flavor is inspired by viral ramen tricks and flavor trends.
The Chili Garlic Ramen offers a combination of noodles with butter, garlic and a bold touch of chili without the need to add flavor packets, which is precisely the reason for the tricks that go viral on social networks.
What do the trends say?
The “Do Less” trend is a response from Generation Z that embraces “relaxed living” and “relaxed dining” to exhaustion and economic pressures, habits that are reflected in networks with #QuietVacationing and #BareMinimumMonday.
Hacks to customize meals are very common on TikTok, and one example is that there are more than 20,000 viral #RamenHacks on the platform to improve instant noodles.
“This broth-free bowl delivers all the buttery, spicy, and umami flavor food lovers are looking for, without the need to drain, handle, or prepare it yourself,” the brand explains in a statement.

While Noodles & Company Director of Culinary R&D, Tina Massey, indicates that “Chili Garlic Ramen is buttery, umami and perfectly spiced: the ultimate one-step solution.”
“We start with authentic ramen noodles from Wonton, a multi-generational purveyor based in Brooklyn, and finish with our custom chili and garlic blend. After nearly 15 years developing dishes at Noodles, this is one of my favorites, and I hope our diners can taste the love in every bite,” he adds.
