A 28-year-old woman was killed this Saturday, March 28, in the house where she lived in Castelo de Vide, in the Portalegre district, and the killer fled, police and Civil Protection sources revealed to the Lusa agency.
A source from the Alto Alentejo Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command said he had received an alert, at 11:43 am, for “a homicide scenario” of a 28-year-old woman, at her home, on a street in Castelo de Vide.
“The woman had no external injuries and the death was certified by the doctor from the emergency and resuscitation medical vehicle (VMER) in Portalegre”from the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM), reported, stating that, at 3:30 pm, the body was still at the scene.
Speaking to Lusa, a source from the PJ, the criminal investigation police who were alerted at 1:30 pm, confirmed that they had taken care of the incident and said it was “a homicide in the context of domestic violence”.
“There is a relationship between the murderer, who will not be at the scene, and the victim”he highlighted, noting that the PJ is carrying out several investigative measures.
Also contacted by Lusa, a source from the Portalegre Territorial Command of the GNR said that it was alerted to this case at 11:45.
“I confirm that there is a fatal victim, a woman. The Judiciary Police picket was called and tests will be carried out, including an autopsy, to determine the cause of death”limited himself to adding the GNR.
A device from the GNR and also from the Judiciary Police (PJ) is set up at the site.
16 operatives were mobilized for this incident, supported by eight vehicles, including firefighters, GNR, PJ and INEM, not only with VMER, but also with a psychological support team in crisis, to “help family members”, said the sub-regional command of Civil Protection.
