MEXICO CITY.- One man lost his life and another was seriously injured in the mayor’s office Iztacalcoafter a torton-type cargo truck hit the black vehicle where they were traveling at the intersection of Canal de Tezontle and Río Churubusco.
According to the residents of the Carlos Zapata Vela neighborhood, the truck was traveling at speeding when he rammed the car sideways, causing it to crash into the containment bollards.
After the impact, the co-pilot was unconscious, while the driver suffered severe head injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital by paramedics who arrived at the scene of the accident.
After confirming the death of the co-pilot, personnel from the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City carried out the corresponding procedures to remove the body and remove the vehicles involved.
Although the truck driver tried to escape from the scene; He was detained meters later by elements of the SSC, who placed the 34-year-old cafre at the disposal of the Public Ministry, along with the secured unit.
