Company news: MACNY announces 6 new employees


MACNY, Association of Manufacturersis expanding its team with six new hires in human resources, workforce development, government relations and public policy.

Bill Brower has decades of leadership experience in higher education, philanthropy and community development. He was hired as director of public policy and community impact. In this role, she will work closely with manufacturers, elected officials, educators and community partners to shape public policy, build collaboration and strengthen the workforce. He helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars Hamilton College, SUNY Geneseoand Le Moyne Collegeand designed and adapted initiatives that connect historically underserved populations with career pathways, technology training and education. His work has included working with employers, legislators and public agencies to prepare local talent for emerging industries and major investments, including the region’s growing advanced manufacturing and semiconductor ecosystem.

Courtney Kless joins MACNY as a government relations specialist, acting as a key liaison between the organization, its members and government officials at the local, state and federal levels. He will help communicate MACNY’s policy priorities, advance enforcement initiatives and engage stakeholders on issues affecting manufacturers. She has experience in newsroom management and higher education, and has skills in strategic communications, content development and relationship building. He will support legislative initiatives, cultivate connections with elected officials and community partners, and ensure that the voice of New York manufacturers is effectively represented at all levels of government.

As a workforce development specialist Adrianna Patzer will support the growth of MACNY’s registered apprenticeship programs in the Central New York region. It will work with businesses, educators and community partners to support apprenticeship opportunities, provide technical advice and address workforce challenges in emerging and high-demand industries. He has practical experience with employment services and job coaching.

Measured Stokoe will support MACNY’s direct entry pre-apprenticeship programs as a workforce development specialist with a focus on building links between education and industry. It will work closely with employers, educators and community organizations to expand apprenticeships and strengthen employer participation. Will assist in efforts related to participant recruitment, program coordination, employer engagement and program design.

Sarah Snyder joins MACNY as a workforce development specialist. She has experience in public health, safety, and government operations and will support direct pre-apprenticeship programming, applying her experience in project management, stakeholder coordination, and reporting to support program implementation and participant enrollment.

Colette Emmons joined the organization as a human relations manager. He has more than 15 years of experience in human resource management in manufacturing, healthcare and insurance. He will oversee both strategic and operational HR functions, including recruiting and hiring, employee development, performance management, compensation, benefits and compliance.
