Desemprego on Eurozone CAI para 6.2% in December 2025, EU Mantém 5.9%

The tax rate from the Eurozone always rose to 6.2% in December 2025 and from the European Union (EU) to 5.9%, with Portugal recording 5.6%, according to data published this third quarter, 30, by Eurostat.

The EU’s statistical service says the tax rate in the eurozone is consistently 6.2% in December, compared to 6.3% recorded in November.

In the EU, the current indicator is around 5.9%.

Eurostat estimates that 13,043 million people were exhausted in the European bloc in December 2025, including 10,792 million people in the 20 countries of the Eurozone.

Within the member states, Finland (10.2%) recorded the largest number of taxa ever in December 2025, surpassed by Spain (10.0%), followed by France (7.7%).

Countries with lower taxes, on the other hand, include the Czech Republic (3.1%), Malta and Poland (3.2% each) and Bulgaria (3.3%).

In Portugal, the tax rate was always fixed at 5.6% in December, I try to compare with the homologous 6.4% and 5.7% in November.
