As part of a project that seeks to encourage citizen action and generate new jobs for Mexicans, the Federal Government, through the Welfare Secretariat, announced the deployment of a new social program called Employment Building the Future.

According to the head of the Welfare Secretariat, Ariadna Montiel Reyesthis initiative will grant a salary of up to 34 thousand pesos to people who register to participate in the cleaning and reconstruction work in the States that were affected by the intense rains.
As Montiel explained this Wednesday morning, during the usual morning conference of President Claudia Sheinbaum, the measure will be part of the Comprehensive Support Plan for Those Affected by the Rainswhich provides for the distribution of economic support ranging from 20 thousand to 100 thousand pesos, intended for families who lost their homes due to weather conditions.
The project seeks to recruit 50 thousand people of legal age who reside in the affected areasthat is, in the States of Veracruz, Querétaro, Puebla, Hidalgo and San Luis Potosíto begin working on the recovery of roads, streets, homes and any area that can be rescued to reestablish the community.
The Secretary of Welfare explained that the workers will receive an monthly payment of 8,500 pesos during the months of November and December 2025 and January and February 2026.
This results in a salary of 34 thousand pesos for four months of work.
Those interested must go to the Welfare registration modules and submit their application. So far no details have been given about its location and hours, but it is expected that in the coming days the authorities will resolve these doubts.

- Proof of address

In addition, young people between 18 and 29 years old will be able to provide their services for cleaning activities through the program. Young People Building the Future In Poza Rica and Álamo, Veracruz.
With this initiative, The Government of Mexico seeks to motivate more people to collaborate in the face of the recent natural disaster that affected the countrywhile promoting citizen responsibility and recognizing the efforts of volunteers who wish to contribute to the reconstruction of their town.
