The program is structured into four strategic areas: promoting the health and physical and mental well-being of students, training and development of dual careers for student-athletes, innovation and production of knowledge associated with sport and, also, strengthening territorial cohesion and regional development.
During the presentation, the president of FADU, Diogo Salgado Braz, highlighted the importance of university sports in the academic context. According to the director, this dimension has been gaining relevance in the strategies of higher education institutions, contributing to the promotion of students’ health and well-being, institutional attractiveness and the development of transversal skills relevant to the professional future.
