FC Porto wins in Stuttgart and is one step away from the quarter-finals of the Europa League (see the goals)

FC Porto won this Thursday, March 12, 2-1 against German side Stuttgart, in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Europa League.

Ter Moffi, in the 21st minute, and Rodrigo Mora, in the 27th minute, scored the goals for the Dragons, who only repeated three starters from Sunday’s 2-2 at Luz (Diogo Costa, Alberto Costa and Bednarek), while Deniz Undav reduced the score for the Germans, in the 40th minute.

The return game is scheduled for March 19th, next Thursday, at 8pm, with the winner of the tie meeting the English side of Nottingham Forest, coached by Vítor Pereira, or the Danes of Midtjylland in the ‘quarters’.
