Fire at hotel in Lisbon requires evacuation. Eight people were treated for smoke inhalation

A fire in the kitchen of a hotel on Rua da Misericórdia, in Lisbon, forced eight people to receive assistance for smoke inhalation this Thursday, April 3.

The information was given to the Lusa agency by the Firefighters Sapadores Regiment, adding that the fire was extinguished at 5:06 am, precisely 36 minutes after the alert.

“The fire broke out in the hotel’s kitchen, forcing the evacuation of the hotel. Eight people were treated for smoke inhalation, but only one was taken to the hospital”, Lusa said, citing the same source, adding that “the people who had been removed from the hotel have already returned to the hotel”.
