A fire broke out on the afternoon of Saturday, April 4, in a building located on Rua Morais Soares, in Lisbonforcing the evacuation of the building and the closure of traffic in the area. The alert was given at 5:05 pm and emergency resources were mobilized to the location. About 45 minutes later, at 5:51 p.m., the fire was considered extinguished.
According to a source from the Firefighters Regiment, “from the outset, there are no injuries” to be recorded, despite the apparatus caused by the occurrence. According to information provided by SIC Newsthe fire would have originated from a barbecue installed in the building, although the causes are still being investigated.
