The black SUV in which the prime minister was traveling Benjamin Netanyahu arrived at the White House shortly before 11:00 a.m. February 11. The Israeli leader, who had been pressuring for months USA to agree to carry out a major attack against Iranwas led inside with little ceremony, out of sight of journalists, prepared for one of the most crucial moments of his long career.
American and Israeli officials first met in the Cabinet Room, adjacent to the Oval Office. Netanyahu then headed downstairs for the main event: a highly classified presentation about Iran for the president Donald Trump and his team at White House Situation Roomwhich was rarely used for in-person meetings with foreign leaders.
