This Wednesday, the 18th, the IGCP will hold two auctions of Treasury Bills (BT) with maturities on September 18th (around six months) and March 19th, 2027 (12 months), in operation with a global indicative amount between 1,750 million and two billion euros.
In the last placements of this type of securities, on February 18, IGCP sold 1,750 million in BT for nine and 11 months, with average rates of 2.013% and 2.015%, respectively.
It is also worth remembering that, on January 21, the BT auction in 12 months reached the maximum indicative amount, 1,250 million, at an average rate of 2.026%.
Treasury Bills are short-term public debt instruments (up to one year) used by the State to quickly manage treasury and meet financing needs.
