Kamala Harris, the nation’s first Black vice president and Democrats’ 2024 presidential nominee, received the only standing ovation and drew a larger crowd than any other potential 2028 hopeful this week.
Rev. Sharpton noted that Kamala Harris got more votes in her 2024 campaign than former Democratic presidents Barack Obama y Bill Clinton.
“Whatever he decided to do, he marked a milestone in history,” said Al Sharpton.
Kamala Harris had previously raised the possibility of another presidential run in the 15 months since she left office. He also recently launched a political action committee and began traveling around the United States to support Democrats, especially in the South.
