Infarmed warns about the lack of Metoprolol Aurobindo, a medicine for hypertension and angina pectoris

It is indicated for “hypertension, angina pectoris, tachycardic arrhythmia (particularly supraventricular tachycardia), prevention of cardiac death and new heart attack (after an acute phase of myocardial infarction) and migraine prophylaxis”.

According to a information circular from the medicine authoritythe drug “is in rupture of stockfor reasons related to manufacturing”, until May 18th.
