Iran rejects US ceasefire proposal, state media say

Iran rejected the 15-point plan sent by USA to put cease fire to the war in the Middle East, state media reported after Pakistan claimed that it transmitted the document to the Islamic republic.

Press TV, an English-language channel intended for foreign audiences, broadcast the news and other Iranian media picked it up, just after the Iranian Navy announced a attack on the aircraft carrier United States “Abraham Lincoln”deployed in the Gulf.

An Iranian official who requested anonymity, but aligned with Tehran’s official position, declared “The war will end when Iran decides to end itand not when Trump considers his conclusion.”

The Washington project, of which no details were leaked from reliable sources, contains the first official US proposals since the war began, triggered by the Israeli and American attacks in Iran on February 28.

Pakistan conveyed the message to Iranas it has good relations with both Tehran and Washington, according to two senior Pakistani officials who requested anonymity.
