With the objective of strengthening social development, inclusion and equitable access to culture and recreation, the Iztacalco Mayor’s Office actively promotes free tourist tours and the comprehensive program of the Government of Mexico City “Colibrí Viajero”.
Through the Directorate of Economic Development and Promotion and the Head of the Departmental Tourism Unit of the Iztacalco Mayor’s Office, more than 3,456 Iztacalco residents have benefited from more than 80 free outings, carried out between October 2024 and September 2025, in various emblematic points of the capital. With these activities they promote tourism, community coexistence and cultural learning.
Among the destinations most requested by visitors are: Aragon Forestthe Police Museum, the Historical Center of Coyoacán, the Electric Transportation Museum, Tamayo Park, Chinatown and Chapultepec Castle, among other representative sites of the Mexico City.

In coordination with the Government of Mexico City and the Ministry of Tourism, the social tourism program “Colibrí Viajero” is developed. It has benefited more than 700 people, offering free tourist tours with transportation included, aimed especially at girls, boys and older adults, with the purpose of promoting inclusion and strengthening the social fabric through recreational and cultural experiences.
Among the most notable itineraries are the Historic Center of Iztacalco, which includes the San Matías Kiosk, the historic Temple and Former Convent of San Matías Apóstol, the La Asunción neighborhood, and the chapels of La Santa Cruz and La Asunción.

Participants also enjoy tours to the Alfredo Harp Helú Stadium, where they visit the Devils Museuma space with 14 thematic galleries, 3D models and a valuable exhibition of photographs, drawings, paintings and sculptures that show the history of baseball in Mexico.
