Liga Portugal launched a new digital platform aimed at clarify the execution and compliance with disciplinary sanctions in the context of professional competitionsreinforcing access to legal information for sports clubs and societies.
The tool was developed based on the analysis and systematization of the most frequently asked questions asked by clubs and SAD, in conjunction with different departments of the Portuguese Football Federation. The objective is to serve as an interpretative support instrument for the Disciplinary Regulations of competitions organized by the League, contributing to a clearer and more consistent application of standards.
With this initiative, the League intends to simplify access to relevant information and reduce bureaucratic complexity associated with the interpretation of disciplinary sanctions, simultaneously promoting greater legal certainty in decision-making processes. The platform allows permanent and quick consultation of explanatory content, facilitating the work of clubs in managing punishments and suspensions.
