Sertanejo combines with the beach, sun and heat? For the O Sol da Caparica festival, yes. The duo Maiara and Maraísa will be the main attraction of the event on August 13th, the first day of the summer festival.

Brazilian women are in the ranking of the most influential artists of the 2010s in Brazil, when the female phenomenon emerged. Hits like Silly Fear, Mexidinho, 10% e Then I Drink helped the duo achieve national popularity. The song’s lyrics combine love, disappointment and female empowerment.
Like Marília Mendonça, who passed away in 2021, they also stand out as composers, having written songs recorded by several artists of the genre. Throughout their career, they have accumulated awards, national tours and millions of reproductions on digital platforms.
The festival where the duo performs takes place at the height of the Brazilian summer, on one of the most famous beaches in the country. Tickets cost between €28 and €82 and are on sale online. Thus, yet another Portuguese festival is betting on Brazilian names for the main stages. Another recent confirmation is that of MC Livinho at the Festival da Comida Continente.
The musical styles of Brazilian shows in Portugal have been varied. In recent months, The duo Bruno & Marrone, the Festyvibe project, Dominguinhos and Jorge Aragão have already appeared on Portuguese stages.
