“We want to mark a pioneering experience, which combines gastronomy and spectacle with a privileged view over some of the most emblematic cities in the country”, says Francisco Mendonça, founder and CEO of Sky Lounge, who assumes that this is the relaunch of a product already launched a few years ago, possible due to the changes that the country has experienced. “More than a meal, it is a complete sensory experience, which will only be available in Portugal in these limited editions”, he warns.
The menus will be surprise and adapted to the region where they take place, and, For now, only the price for Lisbon experiences is known: 145 euros for lunch and 175 euros for dinner (reservations on the website Sky Lounge). Interestingly, chef Chakall already participated in a similar initiative, around 20 years ago, as part of a festival in Parque da Bela Vista. He doesn’t remember what he cooked but he doesn’t forget the “salad blowing up” due to the wind.
The experiences are accessible to everyone, as long as they are over 1.50 meters tall.
In addition to the gastronomic events open to the public, the Sky Lounge – which represents an investment of around R$350,000 – will be available to companies and event organizers.
