As part of the actions of the Government of Mexico to support the towns affected by hurricanes Raymond and Priscilla, the social program Milk for Wellbeing will bring drinking water to Puebla, Hidalgo and Veracruz.

The project supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, began with an action plan that aims to send 90 thousand liters of drinking water in 2-liter bagswhich will be transported in three trucks with a capacity of 30 thousand liters each, guaranteeing safe and efficient transportation.

The aid is directed to the states most affected by the intense rains that hit the country in recent days. So far, deliveries have been prioritized in Puebla, Hidalgo and Veracruz.

The general director of Milk for Wellbeing, Antonio Talamantes Geraldoin collaboration with state and municipal governments, began the coordination work for the delivery of water, reaffirming the commitment of the federal authorities to immediate and effective attention in times of emergency.

“We are at the Tlalnepantla plant, one of the 10 industrial plants we have in the country, supervising the shipment of drinking water to the affected states. We follow the instructions of our President, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, to guarantee immediate attention to the affected communities,” declared Talamantes.
