Mota-Engil signed a contract in Brazil worth 113 million euros with Petrobras to provide engineering services for subsea oil production systems, according to a statement sent to the CMVM.
The contract, communicated to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM), will have an estimated duration of 1,825 days, and includes the integrated execution of decommissioning activities involving approximately 305 kilometers of submarine lines and the removal of underwater equipment and anchoring systems abandoned on the seabed.
“With the award of this contract, Mota-Engil Brasil sees its strategic positioning reinforced in the growing offshore decommissioning market, once again demonstrating its technical, operational and management capacity for the execution of complex projects in deep waters”, reads the statement.
