One person died this Thursday morning, March 26, following a collision between a heavy goods vehicle and a motorcycle on the 25 de Abril Bridge, which at 8:30 am is in the Almada-Lisbon direction, according to a civil protection source.
“The fatal victim is the driver of the motorcycle,” a source from the Setúbal Peninsula Sub-Regional Command told Lusa.
The alert for the accident, which occurred at the beginning of the bridge at Ponte, in Pragal, was given at 7:42 am, with 10 operators on site, with the support of four vehicles.
The same source indicated that circulation in that direction of the 25 de Abril Bridge was interrupted, but at 8:30 am it was conditioned, to be done via one lane.
