A group of 10 people, alleged members of the criminal group “La Familia Michoacana”, were arrested by elements of the Secretariats of Security of the State of Mexico (SSEM), Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), National Defense, National Guard (GN) and Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico, for their probable participation in the crime of deprivation of liberty, in addition to detonating firearms against the security forces.

The arrest resulted from a surveillance patrol by SSEM troops along with Defense and National Guard personnel, who responded to the call for help in which a person was reported being held against his will in the town of San Pablo Malacatepecin the State of Mexico.
