The Idaho cities of Meridian and Star are moving closer together with a new construction project. 427 residential units and extensive commercial space are to be built on an area of 80 hectares. This development, known as Windsor Commons, could significantly change the urban landscape and bring the two cities closer together.
The plans for Windsor Commons include 118 single-family homes, 36 semi-detached homes, 21 live-work units and 252 multi-family homes. This variety of housing options is intended to meet different needs and appeal to a broad target group.
In addition to the residential buildings, almost 34 hectares are earmarked for commercial space. Among other things, a large retail market, restaurants and drive-throughs are to be built here. This mix of residential and commercial space could further increase the region’s attractiveness and create new jobs.
