Former social democratic prime minister Pedro Passos Coelho recommended this Friday, March 6, to the current prime minister, Luís Montenegro, to focus on what he was elected to do and not be distracted by the rest.
“I recommend whoever is in the Government, starting with the head of the Government, to focus on this mission and not be distracted by the rest”advised the former head of the Executive when joining the 4th edition of the Summit of the Student Association of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto (AEFEP).
In a short statement, the Social Democrat also said wait for the PSD to “get the job done and do what it has to do”emphasizing that this is why people voted for the party.
“This is the time, I believe, for Doctor Luís Montenegro to focus on carrying out these functions and responsibilities”insisted the former PSDB leader.
Pedro Passos Coelho highlighted that Luís Montenegro took on a responsibility towards the country and that, in this context, people are waiting for change.
