The kickoff for the celebration of Placebo’s 30th anniversary will be held in Portugal. The band will perform two shows in our country: on September 28th at the Super Bock Arena, in Porto, and on September 29th at Sagres Campo Pequeno, in Lisbon.
Celebrating three decades since the release of their debut album, the alternative rock band presents Placebo RE:CREATEDa reinterpretation of the album that revealed them to the world in 1996. The album will be released on June 19th.
“This is a celebration of where we started and the meeting point between who we were and who we are today. It’s a way to honor that innocence, while letting the songs exist with the size, confidence and energy of the band we’ve become,” says the band quoted in a statement from Everything is New.
A Placebo 30th Anniversary Tour will have 36 concerts across Europe, featuring the biggest hits from their first two albums — Placebo e Without You I’m Nothing — and including songs that haven’t been played live for over 20 years.

Tickets will go on sale on the 27th, at 9am, at the usual locations, with prices ranging from R$32 to R$50.
