Portugal’s biggest virtual football event brings together the best players and clubs in the City of Football

The Portuguese Football Federation will organize, between the 3rd and 7th of June, at Arena Portugal, in Cidade do Futebol, the 2026 edition of the FPF eSPORTS Finalsan event that will bring together the main decisions of the national virtual football calendar and which is said to be the biggest ever held in the country in this modality. For five days, the best national players and clubs will compete for titles and prizes exceeding 50 thousand euros, in a meeting that aims to consolidate the competitive growth of football esports in Portugal.

The schedule includes the final stages of two of the most relevant competitions of the season: the MVP Challenge, which distinguishes the individual national champion of EA Sports FC 26, and the Copa Masters Diogo Jotadedicated to the club aspect. The ninth edition of the MVP Challenge will have a prize pool of 20 thousand euros and will be played in three stages, starting with an open online qualifier between April 24th and 26th, followed by a closed qualifier with the best classified in this phase and the featured players in the Christmas Challenge 2025. The decision for the individual national title is scheduled for the 3rd and 4th of June, already integrated into the main event.

Already the Diogo Jota Masters Cup, created in honor of the Portuguese international and winner of the competition in 2024, will recognize the best virtual football club in the country and distribute 25 thousand euros in prizes. The first phase will be played online between May 1st and 3rd, followed by a second in-person stage at Óbidos Vila Gaming, on May 9th and 10th, with the presence of the 16 best clubs. The eight finalists will then compete for the title between June 6th and 7th, at Arena Portugal.

In addition to these decisions, the 2026 edition of the FPF eSPORTS Finals will also include the EA Sports FC 26 new women’s competition finalsreinforcing the federation’s commitment to the development of women’s virtual football.
