Attention, samba lovers from Lisbon and surrounding areas: Brazilian singer and composer Diogo Nogueira announced that he will be in the Portuguese capital in July, where he will perform at Monsanto’s Open Air. The performance will take place on Sunday, the 26th, from 5pm, and tickets are now available for sale.

In the repertoire, the public can expect well-known tracks such as “Pé na Areia”, “Alma Boêmia”, “Clareou”, “Sou Eu” and “Sagrado”, as well as reinterpretations of classics by names such as Arlindo Cruz, Chico Buarque, Zeca Pagodinho and Tim Maia. Son of samba singer João Nogueira, the singer built a consolidated career within the genre, moving between traditional samba and contemporary productions.
With a frequent presence in Portugal – where he also performed last year – Diogo Nogueira maintains a close relationship with the Brazilian and Portuguese public, bringing together different generations in his shows.
