The weekly edition of What’s good It’s in the air!

Blaya no B.Leza

The first tip of the week is for those who want to go on a weekend getaway in a festive atmosphere. Blaya performs this Thursday (26), at B.Leza, with the “ARRAIÁ.L” tour, designed precisely from a meeting between two popular traditions that are very recognizable for those who live between Brazil and Portugal: the Portuguese festivals and the Brazilian June festivals.

The proposal also makes sense given the artist’s own career, which for years has built a strong relationship with tracks, bodies in movement and repertoires that speak to different cultural references. She was born in Fortaleza, Ceará, but as a baby she arrived in Portugal, where she built her career. The show will also be opened by the Brazilian Carnival block Qui Nem Jiló.

When? Thursday (26), 9:30 pm

Where? B.Leza, at Cais Gás 1, in Lisbon

Price? €12

Anna Maria Maiolino debuts in Portugal with exhibition at MAAT

For those who prefer a calmer program, the exhibition Poetic Landby Anna Maria Maiolino, is one of the best favorites of the moment in Lisbon. Opened this week at MAAT, the exhibition marks the Italian-Brazilian artist’s debut in Portugal and presents an important section of her production, with drawings, sculptures and works focused on materiality.

Upon arrival at the gallery, visitors will find more than 100 drawings from the collection Brainstormwhich function as a kind of gateway to the forms, rhythms and gestures that appear in the rest of the exhibition. The artist’s exhibition, very focused on her own immigration trajectory between Italy, Brazil and Venezuela, runs until the end of August.

When? From March 25th to August 31st

Where? MAAT, in Belém

Taïs Reganelli na BOTA

On Saturday (28), Brazilian singer and songwriter Taïs Reganelli takes the stage at BOTA to perform Open Lung. Based in Portugal and with a career spanning different countries, Taïs has built a musical identity that encompasses MPB, jazz and other contemporary languages, without sounding tied to a formula.

At the show in Lisbon, she will be accompanied by Djâmen, Pablo Marques and Kito Siqueira, in a format that expands the sound universe of the songs and gives more density to the presentation. In addition to new songs, the public can also expect well-known songs from their discography, in a late afternoon designed to listen more calmly. The show will be at 4pm.

When? Saturday (28), at 4pm

Where? BOTA – Toca das Artes Organized Base (Largo Santa Bárbara 3D, Lisbon)

See you next week!
