Spinumviva. Montenegro denies intention to hide information from the Transparency Entity and discloses 13 clients

The Prime Minister denied this Thursday (26 March) any intention to hide information from the Transparency Entity and released the list of 13 clients of his former company, Spinumviva, which he said was already known due to a “leak from parliament”.

In a statement from the prime minister’s office, Luís Montenegro stated that he had received in recent days “38 notifications from EpT which, in short, are intended to request a repetition of the information provided in April 2025”.

“In the case of the Prime Minister, the information that will now be accessible on the EpT platform has already been public (through a leak of parliamentary information), and will not bring anything new, so we are not looking to hide anything, but simply to clarify a legal issue, which should happen in total democratic and institutional normality”, argues the head of the PSD/CDS-PP Government.

The Prime Minister decided to bring forward the publication of “the already known list of clients, even before it is available on the said platform” so that “we do not become dependent on exaggerated bureaucracies and incomprehensible operational difficulties of the digital platform”.

Montenegro lists Spinumviva as clients: Radio Popular, SA; Lopes Barata, Consultoria e Gestão, Lda; CLIP – Colégio Luso Internacional do Porto, SA; Ferpinta – Indústrias de Tubo de Aço de Fernando Pinho Teixeira, SA; Solverde, Sociedade de Investimentos Turísticos da Costa Verde, SA; Cofina SA; Joaquim de Barros Rodrigues & Filhos Ltda Group, Rodáreas – Espaços de Serviços, Ltda; ITAU SA; Sogenave SA; Portugalenses Transportes SA; Beetsteel; INETUM PORTUGAL SA and Grupel SA.
