The Lisbon club’s request comes one day after incidents allegedly involving FC Porto, in this case in the handball game on Saturday, at Dragão Arena, with Sporting accusing the ‘dragons’ “of shady practices” and when members of their team had to receive medical assistance.
“The latest chapter in this unacceptable chain of episodes reaches a level that surpasses all limits: a changing room with a toxic and intense smell that affected the physical state of players and staff of the handball team. This is not only regrettable, it is criminal.”accuses Sporting.
