British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has made an urgent appeal to Ukraine’s international allies to increase military support for the country. Especially before the onset of winter, it is crucial that Ukraine is equipped with more long-range weapons to strengthen its defense capability. This demand was made ahead of a meeting of the so-called Coalition of the Willing in London, at which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will also be present.
The meeting in London, which will be attended by Starmer and Zelensky, as well as NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, is intended to coordinate international support for Ukraine. The so-called Coalition of the Willing consists of over two dozen states led by France and Britain aiming to provide Ukraine with military security guarantees following a possible ceasefire with Russia.
