SUS Executive Board ignores proposal to reduce waiting times and screening in hospital appointments

Ordinance on new response times for consultations in hospitals ignored a proposal from the Working Group that designed the National System for Access to Consultations and Surgeries (SINACC) to reduce patient waiting times. Group wanted consultations in 15 days, instead of 30, for very priority patients and 45 days, instead of 60, for priority patients. SUS Executive Management rejects criticism and guarantees that “changes aim for faster access”.
