This week the World Barista Championship 2025 in Milan, Italy in which the men and women were recognized best baristas to prepare coffee worldwide and a Mexican earned a place in the top ten.
Jeffifer Borrego Alamilla of Degas Coffee and Espresso Lab is the 7th best coffee barista from all over the world.

The achievement was recognized by Degas Cafe through social networks:

Borrego is the three-time Mexican barista champion by the Mexican Association of Specialty Cafes and Cafeterias (AMCCE) that holds its contests during the Expo Café WTC. Her victory in said 2025 competition earned her the representation of Mexico worldwide, just as it had achieved in 2021 and 2023.
