For this reason, he said that the SAT “will now have many more controls to be able to avoid or reduce this tax evasion that occurs with invoice companies. In addition, there is the new Customs law (which) makes everyone co-responsible, to everyone of some illegal act that is committed in a customs office that is evading taxes. So, next year we plan to raise nearly 400 billion pesos more.
“How is it going to be done? Avoiding corruption in the areas where it exists and that corruption is a lot of tax evasion that is done by third parties.”
He reiterated that there are no new taxes that will affect taxpayers and clarified that only “the banks are being charged what they were not used to deducting from the Fobaproa of the IPAB, so, the banks are being charged.”
He said that there is updating of rights, such as migration quotas; However, he acknowledged that, “the only thing that could affect the population is soda, sugary drinks. What do we guide so that it does not affect your pocket? Instead of buying 30 cans of soda in a month, buy 29. It will help your health and you will not pay more taxes.”
