Clay, NY – Morgan Road in Clay is closed after a serious crash involving a pedestrian Thursday night.
The road is closed between Grampion Road and Buckley Road and was closed for more than two hours, the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office said.
Around 5:48 p.m., deputies responded to a car-versus-pedestrian accident at 7462 Morgan Road, according to Onondaga County 911 Center dispatchers.
The pedestrian was given CPR at the scene and taken to Upstate University Hospital, dispatchers said.
Deputies, Moyers Corners Fire Department and NOVA EMS were on scene.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
