Shortly after ruling out a ceasefire and easing sanctions on Iranian oil, US President Donald Trump said he is contemplating “gradually reduce” military operations against Iran.
After three weeks of war and a strong impact on the main supply chains, Washington authorized until April 19 the sale and delivery of Iranian oil loaded on ships before March 20.

The measure would be designed to contain the rising energy prices unleashed by the clashes of the conflict in the Middle East.
On his social network Truth Social, Trump wrote: “We are about to reach our goals while we contemplate gradually reducing our significant efforts military in the Middle East against the Iranian terrorist regime.

A few hours earlier, the Republican magnate ruled out any truce.
“I don’t want a ceasefire. “You don’t agree to a ceasefire when you’re literally annihilating your opponent,” Trump told reporters.
Likewise, he reiterated that the Strait of Hormuza key route for the transit of hydrocarbons that suffers a de facto blockade by Iran, should be “monitored and controlledif necessary, by the other countries that use it, which is not the case in the United States!”
