HANOI / LONDON (IT BOLTWISE) – Two innovative projects from Cao Bang Province have made it to the final round of the “Startup Projects for Rural Youth” competition. These projects, which focus on preserving cultural identity and promoting sustainable tourism, demonstrate the potential of youth to transform the rural economy in Vietnam.

The “Startup Projects for Rural Youth” competition organized by the Central Youth Union in 2025 has created a platform to promote the entrepreneurial spirit of young people in rural areas of Vietnam. With the aim of developing the rural economy in a modern, green and sustainable direction, a total of 228 project applications from 45 provinces and municipalities were submitted. Particularly noteworthy is the participation of 33 projects by young people from ethnic minorities.
The projects that made it to the final round are characterized by their practical implementation and high quality. They focus on agricultural development using science and technology, the extraction of domestic resources, and environmental protection. Two outstanding projects from Cao Bang Province particularly stood out: the “Lung Muoi Homestay” project by Chu Tien Thanh and the “Phong Nam Station” project by Tran Anh Dung and his team.
The Lung Muoi Homestay Project aims to preserve the cultural identity of the Dao Tien ethnic group. It offers a platform for cultural exchange and promotes sustainable tourism in the region. The second project, “Phong Nam Station”, focuses on providing information and end-use services to preserve and develop local ethnic culture through a sustainable community tourism model.
The final round of the competition will take place on October 18th and 19th in Hanoi. This event offers participants the opportunity to present their projects to a jury and receive valuable feedback. The winners are not only awarded prizes, but also receive support in implementing their projects, which can make a significant contribution to the economic development of Vietnam’s rural areas.
