On the afternoon of Monday, October 20, the death of Francisco Pérez, better known on the Internet as “Medio Metro Original de Puebla”, was reported at 30 years of age, for which the sonideros union is in mourning.

The news was confirmed by Paco Toxqui’s Super T Group through their social networks. The short man had a presentation with them last weekend at a public event on the main esplanade of the municipality of Coronango.

“We regret to inform all our followers of the death of our colleague ‘Medio Metro’. We join in the pain that overwhelms the Pineda family. Rest in peace”the group wrote.

What is known about the death of “Medio Metro”?

According to the latest reports from municipal authorities, the dancer’s lifeless body was found on Monday morning in the San Aparicio ravine, north of the state of Puebla; He had a blow and bullet holes.

After the discovery of “Medio Metro’s” body, the state Attorney General’s Office opened an investigation folder to determine the causes of his death.

Who was “Half Metro”?

Francisco “Pancho” Pérez was a reference of the Puebla’s sonidera culture. Originally from the El Alto neighborhood in Puebla, he rose to fame on social networks for his dances.

For many years, he attended sound events, recorded videos with content creators, and participated in election campaign events and public events.

Francisco called himself “Half Metro The Original”, as he claimed to have been the first of all.

Francisco Pérez should not be confused with José Eduardo, the second “Medio Metro” recognized on networks, originally from Guanajuato, who used to dance with Sonido Pirata his unique steps from “La chaquetita” and “El chavo del 8”, in collaboration with Julián Ramírez on the consoles. After separating from Julián, Jonathan Uriel Espinal rose to fame, immediately known as “El Nuevo Medio Metro” or “El Medio Medio Bueno”.
