That is why last Wednesday, October 15 at the Gaceta Official Newspaper The Government of the State of Mexico authorized the increase in the fare which was as follows:
- 14 pesos for the first 5 kilometers (km)
- An additional 25 cents will be charged for each excess km (rounding will be applied to the nearest multiple of 50 cents)

The Gazette of the Government of the State of Mexico establishes that public transportation concessionaires and operators must display updated fares visibly for users within the units.
It also points out that drivers will not be able to adjust a higher rate than that established in the Law, so any abuse must be reported to the Mobility Secretariat of Edomex.
