VALLADOLID, Yucatán.– A man was arrested last night at Fernando Novelo colony after being surprised when he allegedly tried to steal a motorcycle.
According to the police report, the agents went to the scene after receiving a call for help and, upon arrival, they found a individual manipulating vehicle cables. When questioned, the subject reacted aggressively towards officers.
Minutes later, a young man came out of a nearby beer store and identified himself as the motorcycle ownerconfirming that the other man was trying to steal it.
Given the evidence, the alleged thief was arrested and transferred to the public prison for the release of responsibilities. For his part, the owner of the vehicle later went to the municipal command, where he managed to recover his motorcycle.
Thanks to the quick police intervention, the robbery was foiled.
