The game looks spectacular on an Xbox Series X, plus its performance is quite stable; The title adds a little more weight to the exploration and integrates elements that nourish the classic experience.
Mexico City, October 26 (however).- More than 13 years have passed since we saw the last canonical installment of the series, Ninja Gaiden 3, a title that came to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and that would mean the momentary pause of one of the most emblematic installments of action and hack and slash of the 2000s.
Now comes the fourth installment of the series, which combines the original essence of Ninja Gaiden from the hand of Team Ninja, with the experience of Platinum Games, who have been behind great recent hits such as NieR: Automata, Astral Chain or the Bayonetta saga, making the hack and slash genre a badge of quality for the studio.
A return in the best way
A franchise with more than 35 years of tradition is back and in the best possible way, although we recently saw the relaunch of Ninja Gaiden 2, with Ninja Gaiden 2 Black and with Ryu Hayabusa, as an emblematic character, on this occasion, Ninja Gaiden 4 -as a direct sequel to Ninja Gaiden 3- also introduces a new character, Yakumo, a member of the Raven Clan, who are a direct rival of the Hayabusa Clan, however, our protagonist is following the same steps of Ryu Hayabusa to become a ninja master.

This new story seeks to capture new players in addition to the most dedicated ones, but they don’t have to worry, although Ryu Hayabusa is not our main character, he is part of the plot and is fundamental to it.
The events of Ninja Gaiden 3 are resumed, where Ryu Hayabusa sought to defeat the Dark Dragon, an evil entity that existed in the city of Tokyo, however, it was not completely defeated, and is trying to be reborn in this installment, at the hands of a priestess known as Seori, however, Yakumo will seek to fulfill the prophecy of defeating the Dark once and for all. Dragon,
A great challenge
At the gameplay level, we have different aspects that are part of the final experience, in a first approach, the difficulty and that is, what would be of a Ninja Gaiden if it did not make us throw the control at the television so many times when we tried to complete a mission of the game?
The different options that the game offers us, from the experience for those who have more knowledge of the saga to for new players, create a great challenge throughout the entire journey, up to each of the final bosses, making these fights a true hell for the players, but once finished, they give a great level of satisfaction.
We have the moves we know: light attack, strong attack, block, Parry and our charged attack; Precision being one of our best allies, in addition to the different combinations of attacks that we can learn to create the most aggressive and gore movements that we can imagine, added to all the movements and aspects that we can improve throughout the game.
To all this, the title also adds a little more weight to exploration, although it continues to remain a linear title, the game rewards us for exploring some spaces or deviating a little from our path, but the overall experience and the story of the game give us an experience at the height of the franchise.

A game that looks spectacular
On the graphic side, the game looks spectacular on a Xbox Series
We have sequences full of action that we can manipulate or simply that we can experience in a cinematic, but above all the combat and the flashes at the moment of battle fill us with frenetic moments again and again.
Ninja Gaiden 4 It is a triumphant return of the franchise more than a decade later, although it does not revolutionize its bases and maintains the same essence that we know, it does adapt to current gameplay with elements that nourish the classic experience and that can lead to the beginning of a new series of installments.
