Mexico City, October 19 (However).- A Boeing 747-481 cargo plane operated by Turkish airline Air ACT on behalf of Emirates SkyCargo skidded off the landing strip Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)partially falling into the sea.

The incident, which occurred around 3:50 a.m. (local time), left a balance of at least one person deadaccording to the report, and activated a rescue operationwhile authorities investigate the causes under adverse weather conditions.

According to available information, flight EK9788 came from Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, after a journey of almost seven hours without incidents reported during the flight.

Witnesses indicated that the device landed on the north runway of the airport, but deviated laterally during taxiing, colliding with a ground service vehicle. This collision caused the landing gear to be severely damaged, tearing off a wheel and throwing the vehicle’s occupants into the water.

The plane ended up with its rear section submerged in the sea, breaking into parts and floating partially visible in images spread through social networks.
