The defense of the accused revealed that he will request a procedure abbreviated to declare culpable of the crime in exchange for receiving judgment minimumwhich is from 20 years in prison.
Donovan “N” was arrested after being identified as one of those likely involved in the attack against lawyer David Cohen Sacal, committed outside Judicial City, on Monday, October 13.

In a hearing held this Friday in the courts of the Doctores neighborhood of CdMx, a Control Judge determined to link the 20-year-old young man to trial for the crime of qualified homicide, for which he ratified the precautionary measure of informal preventive detention, with which he will remain imprisoned in the South Prison of the capital.
In addition, the judicial authority established a period of two months for the complementary investigation to be carried out.
At the end of the appearance, Donovan “N’s” lawyer revealed that after speaking with the accused and his family they decided to seek the abbreviated procedure, with which the young man will plead guilty for the murder of lawyer David Cohen, in exchange for receiving the minimum sentence for this crime, which is 20 years in prison.
He explained that the accused cannot access a criterion of opportunity to collaborate with the Attorney General’s Office (FGJ) of the CdMx, because it does not have information regarding who the intellectual authors of the attack against the litigant are.
